The ELFBAR MATE 500 liquid pods can be filled with the liquid of your choice in no time at all. You can then attach the full liquid cartridge to the separately available ELFBAR MATE battery part and after a short waiting time you can draw from the mouthpiece. The Mate 500 liquid pods have a filling volume of 2.5 ml, which is enough for around 200 to 400 puffs. The cartridges are made of transparent plastic so that you can see the liquid level at all times. If the liquid level is low, it is advisable to fill up with new liquid as soon as possible to prevent the coil from charring and creating a burnt taste.

Commissioning the ELFBAR MATE Pod System

Setting up the ELFBAR MATE Pod System is simple and easy to master, even for inexperienced vapers. Nevertheless, there are a few important points to bear in mind so that you can achieve an optimal vaping experience:

Step 1

Unpack the ELFBAR Mate and an empty cartridge, remove the protective film and charge the battery carrier with the enclosed USB-C charging cable. 

Step 2

Now fill the empty Liquid Pod (capacity 1.6ml) with the e-liquid of your choice. 

Step 3

Now place the filled Liquid Pod on top of the battery carrier of the ELFBAR MATE 500. 

Step 4

Wait 5 to 10 minutes so that the coil can be fully saturated with liquid (otherwise the coil may carbonize).

Step 5

The pod system is now ready and you can draw on the mouthpiece. (Thanks to the automatic draw, the device does not need to be switched on or off).

Which liquids for the ELFBAR MATE?

The ELFBAR MATE 500 pod system is designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. This means that the vapor behavior is similar to that of a classic cigarette. Highly concentrated nicotine salt liquids are best suited for MTL e-cigarettes. These have a very intense taste and do not scratch the throat, even with a high nicotine content. With ELFLIQ Elfbar has launched an excellent line of liquids on the market, which go perfectly with the ELFBAR MATE 500. Although we recommend liquids from ELFBAR, liquids from other manufacturers can of course also be vaporized in the pod system.
